Context and objectives
PIR was assigned to run procurement and tender evaluations in a brand strategy project with the main purpose of finding the best MarCom agency for establishing a solid brand strategy platform. The price was not the only central part in the assessments. The strategic method practiced by the agency was also a very important consideration. The brand strategy platform had to be compatible with the creative dimension and the commercial dimension of the customer.
PIR’s approach
- The main objective was to find an agency with the best strategic method and the best price for building a brand strategy platform.
- Evaluate the tenders from the invited agencies in both method and price.
- Evaluate the methods of the agencies concerning analysis and insights, brand strategy definitions and creative execution.
- Negotiate the commercial and legal conditions and also question the methods.
- The service was executed based on PIR’s Procurement Management Methodology
