Context & Objective

The client wanted to achieve cost reduction from existing IT consultant suppliers.

Approach & Result

Together with the client, PIR established a list of preferred suppliers which resulted in lower fees, although suppliers gained no increase in volume. Additionally, the project resulted in set norm prices for client's most common services, extended contract terms to achieve volume discounts, simplification of agreement signing process, and renegotiation of prices in foreign currencies. The results were a cost reduction of 7% over a 12-month period.
